Currently managing director at JP Morgan, Gary Fournier is a prominent money manager who has been ranked as a top advisor by Barron’s. With a variety of charitable interests, Gary Fournier enjoys giving back to the community by supporting organizations such as the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Los Angeles (SPCALA).
In addition to donations, the SPCALA also is in need of foster homes for animals. People who are interested in serving as a foster volunteer must fill out an application. Selected applicants are invited to attend a foster care orientation class and are matched with a foster animal when the need arises.
SPCALA is able to supply necessities to those who care for foster animals, including food, litter, bedding, toys, and veterinary care. However, any materials foster parents are able to provide themselves help the SPCALA to allocate those resources to other needy animals. Fostering can last from a few weeks to a few months, and the length of time can be planned in advance.
