About Gary Fournier

As an executive investment manager for over three decades, Gary R. Fournier began his career at White Weld & Co. directly after college. With an MBA in Finance, Mr. Fournier managed the firm’s Century City, California, office. There, he became one of the company’s youngest Partners. When White Weld was sold to Merrill Lynch & Co., Gary R. Fournier moved to a position at Kidder, Peabody & Co.At Kidder, Peabody & Co., Gary R. Fournier managed the Healthsource IPO, eventually becoming a Partner in the firm. During his tenure there, he put together the first over-the-counter shelf registration in the United States for Maxicare Health Plans, Inc. In 1993, Kidder, Peabody & Co. was purchased by PaineWebber &Co., and Gary Fournier moved on to Smith Barney, where he was named Senior Vice President. At Smith Barney, Mr. Fournier handled the asset sharing stratagems for clients of high net worth.

In 2001, Gary R. Fournier took a position at UBS/PaineWebber, serving as a Senior Vice President. In this position he excelled, soon achieving the status of becoming the company’s leading money manager. A few years later, UBS/PaineWebber was rebranded and transformed into UBS Wealth Management USA. At that time, Gary R. Fournier moved over to Bear Stearns Companies, Inc. When Bear Stearns was taken over by JPMorgan Chase & Co., Mr. Fournier remained with the company. Today, he serves as Managing Director at JPMorgan Chase, handling over $1 billion in assets.

Gary R. Fournier enjoys working with charitable organizations such as the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy, where he serves as a member of the Mariposa Circle. He supports such groups as the Barbara K. Robinson Breast Cancer Research Fund, The American National Red Cross, the American Institute for Cancer Research, and Operation Heal Africa, among others.

Mr. Fournier enjoys jogging and has participated in several marathons. In the past, he has served as assistant coach for the Pony Baseball League. He also worked with Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach, serving on the Board of Directors.
